Anybody watch the ABC remake of "V"?

I thought it was pretty impressive. The special effects so far are quite top notch. I knew they were going to spend a lot of money on the SPFX... and I think it was quite worth it so far.

Anyone else see it?

no Halloween parties for me this year, ive got work so after work i will resort to my usuall holiday tradition: sitting up late watching scary movies woo hooo lol
so anyway whats everyone's favorite scary movie? for me it has to be something from the zombie genre, like the original Day Of The Dead or the zombie spoof Return Of The Living Dead (which has one of the best horror movie soundtracks...

Not sure what the connection to SD was but I loved that song and can't find it anywhere.

I just downloaded my new "Aspartame" ringtone. Sweet. They weren't on there before. I can never hear the regular ringers, but I can hear the Rock!

it kinda reminds me of the short-lives time back in 2001 i think, where the board was black and silver and the band's logo had the Batman Forever font.

So I alluded to this in a past thread but want to address it now that the time has come...

My fiance' tried out for Wheel of Fortune a couple of months back when they were filming in Vegas. She loveeees games and kills me at everything we play. I guess she auditioned well enough to be picked as a contestant and ended up taping the show.

In case some of you actually Tivo/watch it, I won't spoil the ending but I will tell you she does well...

Gamers: the XBOX (not the 360)

so i ended up buying an XBOX from a friend of mine. im a 'retro gamer' of sorts and the latest system i have is the GameCube, (and the DS of course) and ive pretty much always stuck with Nintendo and Sega stuff. but so far im having alot of fun! i dont have too many games yet and they seem to be pretty cheap in GameStop and the such because its an older system. does anyone have any suggestions?

for 50 bucks i got:
XBOX system w/newer style small controller

if there is another reason why i despise Turd Eye Blind, now they have named thier new record 'Ursa Major'. i know i know its an actuall place and noone owns the name, but everytime i hear it, i reminds me of one of the coolest songs in rock history (so cool in fact, i dont even have to say it here) just thought id share.

Anybody else pumped about this new supergroup? If you haven't heard, it is Josh Homme, Dave Grohl and John Paul freakin' Jones. I have no idea what they are going to sound like, but I was lucky enough to score tickets to their "secret" show coming up this Sunday night in Chicago. Looks like it sold out pretty darn quick.

BONUS QUESTION:

Anybody going to see Dinosaur Jr. when they come through Chicago? My roommate hooked me up with tickets as a late...
