I used to own a Les Paul Jr Special Lite. That's prolly one of my faves. They were manufactured from 99-02 I believe. They look like old LP Jr specials from the late 50s and early 60s. They have dual P100 pups which are the humbucking version of the P90. They crunch up really nicely and have a good clean tone too. They are also double cuts which cut down on the weight. In fact, John used a strikingly similar Epi version on tour after Last Call. It might be an original. You can see it in the Staggering Genius video. I think Sam plays that guitar in WARTHOG, but now it has a bigsby on it. Anyways, the version I originally spoke of goes for around about 1k if you can find one. Don't be fooled by the cheaper and not as good of quality models that came out after 02. You can identify those by their flat finish and dot inlay instead of the trapazoid.
