I know Nashville has Music Row..not sure what you can do there, but it's something. I've never seen it.

You can also take a tour of the Ryman theatre...home of the Grand 'Ol Opry..i hear it's entertaining.

There is the Opry Mills Mall (a HUGE mall built over what was once Opryland Theme Park. It has bowling alley and an IMAX theatre there. While you are there, check out the Opryland Hotel. It's kinda nice. lots of indoor gardens and things. DO a search on the net to find out more about it. My girlfriend and I took a stroll through there, and it was nice..lots of waterfalls, gardens, and such..and best of all, it's free. Park at the mall, and walk over to avoid parking fees.

There is also the Country Music Hall of Fame. I have been wanting to check this out to see what sorta stuff they might have on Hank Williams or Johnny Cash.

Just outside of Nashville is the Hermitage..home of Andrew Jackson. Never been there either, but you never know.

An hour or so south (i think) of Nashville is Lynchburg. For those of you that know Jack Daniels, you might want to go there.
